Approved on Thursday was also the decision to expand the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board’s membership from nine to eleven people.

The council will be presented with appointments for the Brenham Police Citizen Advisory Board in February. The Brenham Police Department changed the age of the youth representative to allow 18-year-olds to serve, as well as added additional minority members to the board to better align the group’s representation categories with the department’s community outreach goals.
