Two Bellville Teens Taken Into Custody in Distinct Law Enforcement Actions

After being taken into custody by the Bellville Police Department in two different instances, two youths from Bellville ended up behind jail on Thursday.

According to the police, O’Marian Freeman, 17, was taken into custody for several auto thefts that have happened in and around the Bellville region.

Theft of Property Greater Than $2,500 but Less Than $30,000 was the charge levied against Freeman in the State Jail.

On a $150,000 bond, he was taken into the Austin County Jail.

In the meantime, Bellville K-9 Officers Freude and Maggie pulled over 17-year-old Xander Lee Richard during a traffic stop as he was riding a bicycle. Richard was taken into custody.

Richard reportedly struggled with K-9 Officer Freude and resisted being placed under arrest. The results of the inquiry showed that the suspect had a firearm and several items connected to drugs.

Richard was accused of producing and delivering a controlled substance, unlawfully carrying a firearm, and resisting arrest when he was taken into the Austin County Jail.
