Tragic Discovery: California Teacher Found Deceased in Car Trunk During House Explosion Call

A woman from California was discovered deceased within the car’s trunk as emergency personnel were attending to a house explosion.

The woman was discovered on Wednesday morning while members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department were responding to reports of a home fire near Lancaster, according to FOX 11.

Three automobiles on the property were moved and the fire was extinguished when the firefighters arrived at the house.

Following the discovery of the woman’s body in one of the cars’ trunks by a firefighter on the site, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department launched a death investigation.

KCAL spoke with a man posing as the woman’s uncle, who identified her as a 27-year-old elementary school teacher who was found inside the trunk.

On Wednesday, the girlfriend of the homeowner failed to arrive at work. According to a neighbor, the explosion originated from the garage. While they continue their investigation, deputies have not made any arrests.
