At 42nd Street-Port Authority subway station, a man was stabbed

Authorities are currently on the lookout for an assailant responsible for a stabbing incident at a subway station in Midtown Manhattan. The violent episode transpired at the 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal station, unfolding shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday.

According to investigators, the situation escalated when the victim, ascending the station’s stairs, became embroiled in a dispute that abruptly turned violent, resulting in him being stabbed in the chest.

Following the attack, the victim was rushed to a hospital where he is being treated and is reported to be in stable condition.

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is actively seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation.
