Even though there are many things we love about Texas, it could use some work.
I read a question and some of the comments from people who still live here brought some things to my attention. I personally can’t think of a better place to live. I haven’t been here by chance for the last 40 years or more. I am very happy here, even though I swear at the wind sometimes. I would still try to get rid of some of the junk in the garden if I moved into a house that had a lot of it. The only thing on this list that we can’t change is the last one.
Why People Hate Living in Texas State?
The Arrogance
A lot of people don’t like how Texans talk up the state or themselves. Before we go any further, let’s talk about how rude it is to say that someone else is not as great as you are. Also, what makes Texas so great? I can think of a few things too, but that could be said about any place. People will talk about you if you’re really great.
The Economy
It’s not like you think the economy is here. There was a lot of talk about how much lower wages are here than on either side. In the entertainment and tech fields, we don’t fight as much as we should. The “average wage” seems to be about the same as in other places, but the ceiling is very low, and some parts of Texas have the lowest wages in the country. Good news: there are lots of jobs, which is helpful since most people need to have more than one.
It’s Corny Side
It hurts different this time, I’m sorry. I’m going to paraphrase what someone else said: Texas is like that kid who always tries to be cool but isn’t. People are so proud of their state that they wear it on their clothes, like they chose to be born here. I think that’s all I need to say about the fact that bankers in this state wear cowboy hats inside.

The Lack of Culture
Not having enough culture comes from two things: not having enough cultural events to choose from and not wanting to try new ones. This gives Texans a very narrow view of the world, which can lead to racism, sexism, and homophobia, among other things. You just have to meet new people and do new things, but it seems like a lot of Texans can’t or won’t do that.
The Weather
Texas has some very strange weather. It’s either too hot or too cold, and the good stuff is only here for a short time in between. There are haboobs, dust storms, crazy winter storms, tornadoes, floods, and hurricanes. Then there are things that happen near the weather, like earthquakes or even cedar fever. Again, all of this is because Alabama is a huge southern state, but that only means that every part of the state hates the weather it gets.
