Account Information
When you register for DigiCreators, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- A hashed (encrypted) password — we never store your plain-text password
- Your preferred language and UI settings
Ebook Content
When you use our generation pipeline, we store:
- Book titles, topics, outlines, and full generated content
- Cover images you upload
- Your customisation preferences (templates, fonts, themes)
This data is stored so you can access, edit, and export your ebooks across sessions.
Usage & Technical Data
We automatically collect limited technical information to operate and improve the service:
- IP address (used for security and abuse prevention)
- Browser type and operating system
- Pages visited and features used (aggregate analytics only)
- Timestamps of generation requests
Payment Information
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. We receive only a confirmation token, the amount charged, and the plan associated with the transaction.
2 How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve DigiCreators:
- Account management — authentication, credit balance, plan entitlements
- Ebook generation — your prompts and settings are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate content
- Service communications — transactional emails (password reset, payment receipt). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent
- Fraud and abuse prevention — detecting unusual usage patterns
- Product improvement — understanding which features are used most (aggregate, never individual)
3 Data Storage & Security
While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% immune to breaches. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you promptly by email.
4 Cookies & Tracking
We use the minimum cookies necessary to operate the service:
- Session cookie — keeps you logged in during your browser session
- CSRF token cookie — protects against cross-site request forgery attacks
- Remember-me cookie — only set if you tick "Remember me" at login; persists your session for 30 days
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics). You can clear cookies from your browser settings at any time; this will log you out of DigiCreators.
5 Third-Party Services
DigiCreators relies on the following third-party providers. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — your ebook prompts and settings are sent to Anthropic's API to generate content. Anthropic processes this data per their Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — handles all payment processing. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — fonts may be loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log the request per their Privacy Policy.
We do not integrate with social media platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers.
6 Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- Correction — update inaccurate information via your account settings
- Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data (ebooks, usage history, payment records). We will process this within 30 days.
- Portability — export your ebook content at any time in PDF, ePub, or plain text format
- Objection — object to any specific processing of your data by contacting us

7 Data Retention
- Active account data — retained for as long as your account is active
- Ebook content — retained until you delete the ebook or close your account
- Payment records — retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance purposes
- Server logs — retained for up to 90 days, then automatically purged
- Deleted accounts — personal data removed within 30 days of deletion request; anonymised usage statistics may be retained indefinitely
8 Children's Privacy
DigiCreators is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete the information.
9 International Data Transfers
DigiCreators operates from servers that may be located outside your country of residence. By using our service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in these locations. We ensure that any such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. Contact us to exercise these rights.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Send an email notification to all registered users
- Display a notice in the app dashboard for 30 days
Continued use of DigiCreators after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
