Early on Christmas morning, a guy was riding in a car in a neighborhood in the Houston region when he was hit by a stray bullet that fell from the sky, as reported by FOX 26 Houston.

Just after midnight on Monday, Houston police and city firemen responded to a call regarding gunshot reports. Upon reaching the location, they discovered that the victim had sustained injuries from a gunshot that had fallen from the sky.

The male victim was reportedly hit in the shoulder by a stray bullet that entered the car through the sunroof while he was a passenger. When the female driver saw the abrupt injury, she dialed 911.

According to the officers, after emergency personnel arrived on the scene, the injured individual was taken to a nearby hospital to receive medical attention. Officers in Houston posted a video on social media after this event cautioning people not to start celebration flames.
